Reflecting the democratic ethos that is central to Horizon, founding Discovery membership is offered from £20/ month (£240/ year). The scheme is entirely philanthropic, with Gift Aid of 25% eligible on your full donation if you are a UK taxpayer. You can give at a level that works for you:

  • A gift of £20/ month (£300/ year with Gift Aid) could provide vital access tools that ensure inclusion for artists from all backgrounds, including disabled and neurodiverse artists, is at the centre of our approach.
  • A gift of £80/ month (£1,200/ year with Gift Aid) could support our programme of professional development for showcased artists, equipping them with the skills, networks and confidence essential to building sustainable international careers
  • A gift of £200/ month (£3,000/ year with Gift Aid) could contribute towards digital infrastructure, meaning that we can test new ways of reaching international audiences online, without losing the ‘liveness’ of live performance
  • A gift of £350/ month (£5,250 / year with Gift Aid) could fund a full commission within the showcase, providing artists with vital financial and professional backing

As a Discovery member you will be part of a community of trailblazers – passionate about supporting the best, most cutting-edge, ground-breaking and emergent performance making and increasing representation across the performing arts. Discovery members will be given exclusive behind the scenes access to Horizon’s supported artists, giving you the chance to get closer to Horizon.

Discovery membership will be processed by consortium member Battersea Arts Centre, with your gift restricted to the direct costs of the Horizon showcase.

Other ways to help

Horizon is all about transformation. Transforming artists careers and the way we think about international practice. Transforming which voices are heard and what properly equitable access means. Transforming current approaches to showcasing into something that truly serves artists. If you share our vision for change, and would like to discuss making a transformational gift of £25,000+ to our pilot year, we’d love to talk.

If you would like to discuss making a transformational gift, supporting in other – including non-financial – ways, or think you could help we would love to hear from you.
