A Crash Course in Cloudspotting is an intimate audio-sensory journey exploring the depths of human connection and the subversive act of lying down.

An invitation to pause. To rest. To listen.
Raquel Meseguer Zafe has gathered over 300 stories from people living with invisible disabilities and chronic illnesses. This immersive 35-minute installation / 55-minute installation and performance invites audiences into the heart of these experiences, while participants from across the UK illuminate the space with a gentle choreography of lights. Patterns of rest unfolding in real time.

Artist Information
Raquel’s work straddles theatre, dance, installation, performative conversations, and photo- documentary. She identifies as dis-abled and works with rest and horizontality as creative impulses.
Raquel founded Unchartered Collective in 2016 to create theatrical encounters that explore the lived experience of an invisible disability like chronic pain. She also co-founded Lost Dog Dance and co-directed the award-winning productions Paradise Lost (lies unopened beside me), and Juliet + Romeo.
